The SCC strongly encourages University of Chicago students to understand how health care works on campus to reduce possible frustration, loss of time, and unnecessary costs.

This means knowing the difference between the Student Health and Wellness Fee (which is a mandatory fee for all University of Chicago Students) and your health insurance coverage (which you must show proof of to attend The University of Chicago).

Students are required to provide proof of immunizations. Please review the Immunization Requirements.

Additionally, new patients must complete the Initial Patient Form and minors must have submitted a Consent Form for Minors completed by a parent or guardian before receiving treatment.
