Student Health and Wellness Fee
The Student Health and Wellness Fee provides access to the essential services provided by the Student Care Center and the Student Counseling and Resource Service. It is assessed quarterly to registered students.
Coverage under the Student Health & Wellness fee lasts from the beginning of one quarter until the beginning of the next quarter.

What the fee covers:
- Health and medical care visits with any SCC Provider: Womancare, Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Nursing Staff, Sports Medicine, Nutrition Services, Travel Clinic, and Health Education
- Allergy injection visits
- Annual Pap smear
- Annual gonorrhea/Chlamydia testing
- HIV screening (Follow up appointment needed. Results only given in person)
- Urine pregnancy test
- Wet smears
- Rapid strep throat test
- Specimen collection (without interpretation)
- Flu shots
- Screening lipid panel
- Selected laboratory testing
- Selected physical therapy services
- Medications (or generic substitute): Sudafed, Robitussin, Ibuprofen, and Acetaminophen
- Condoms, lubricants, and dental dams
- Health Education materials, classes, workshops, and health counseling
- Smoking cessation health counseling
What is NOT covered under the Student Health and Wellness Fee:
- Pharmacy prescriptions/Medications
- Consultation and/or treatment by sub-specialists outside of the SCC or SCRS clinical staff
- Travel/Routine immunizations
- Emergency room care
- Hospitalization
- Long-term mental health care
- Most laboratory tests
- Radiology procedures
- Medical supplies
- Medical record copying or certificates
- Heart station procedures
- Drug testing
- Other services not listed here
