Appointment Scheduling Update

The SCC will receive an entirely new computer system to be activated in Spring 2009. During that four week transition into the new computer system, the SCC will not be doing any form of physical exams or pap smears in order to meet the needs of acutely ill patients.

Students often become frustrated by the inability to get an appointment in May and June for preventative medical exams including pap smears. This occurs as a result of the inability to increase the Student Care Center’s normal volume of appointments at that time to meet the triple amount of student requests at that time.

Please plan and schedule your wellness exams throughout the year to avoid this scheduling difficulty.
